The Plus Size Divas are Deanna “Bomb Chica” and Carmen Rene. Deanna and Carmen are two plus size divas having fun, entertaining & curvy conversation while promoting body acceptance & inspiration through their weekly talk show & body positive events & apparel.
The second season of their talk show will be called The Plus Size Divas LIVE from the Purple Couch will debut on June 4th, 2019 on Facebook LIVE and then all episodes will be uploaded to The Plus Size Divas Youtube Channel.

Born and raised in a suburb of Boston, Deanna always dreamed BIG! She was awarded a full tuition scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music where she graduated with a BA in Music Business and Management. She has a successful career as a vocalist, singing for film, TV and commercials as well as for some of the top names in the world like Celine Dion, Justin Bieber and Nick Jonas. She was also a quarter semi finalist on Season 8 of NBC’s, “America’s Got Talent”. Her songwriting can be heard in over 100 film, TV, commercial and record label placements including: Red Velvet’s ” Dumb Dumb”, Quincy Featuring French Montana’s “Friends First”, Sophia Grace’s “Girls Just Gotta Have Fun”, Charlie Wilson’s “Life Of The Party” and Cody Simpson’s “Guitar Cry”. As an actress and voice over actor, Deanna starred in commercials for retail giant BIG LOTS and has lent her voice to Fancy Rabbit’s game “From Beneath”.
Small town girl Carmen Rene moved to Los Angeles in 2006 fresh out of high school with dreams to take the fashion industry as a Buyer by storm. Coming from Eagle Creek, Oregon, she was excited to see what the California lifestyle had in store. Carmen’s degree in Fashion Marketing from Woodbury University turned into 5 years USC hospitality and then the 3-year journey to pursuing her dreams. She found the world of body positivity and knew she was meant to share her story. Carmen created @EatTheCakeToo on instagram. Her goal is to stop being concerned with what anyone has to say about anyone else’s body. She aims to recreate the unrealistic standards of beauty. Carmen suffers from lymphedema, which is a condition that causes swelling in the legs and feet. Carmen wanted to use her own insecurities to show that being different doesn’t make you any less worthy of self love. Carmen has been on a mission to help others on their journey to body acceptance. She is confident, driven, a self-loving warrior and she is just getting started.
